RM (RealMedia) is a multimedia container format created by RealNetworks. Its extension is “.rm”. It is typically used in conjunction with RealVideo and RealAudio and is used for streaming content over the Internet. Typically these streams are in CBR (constant bitrate).

RMVB (RealMedia variable bitrate) is a variable bitrate extension of the RealMedia multimedia container format developed by RealNetworks. As opposed to the more common RealMedia container, which holds streaming media encoded at a constant bit rate, RMVB is typically used for multimedia content stored locally. Files using this format have the file extension ".rmvb".

Launch the software and select video as import format. Then click button to add RM files. RM to DVD Mac allows you to add several RM files at a time. At the bottom of the interface, you can see clearly the space usage of the files you imported as well as the situation of remaining space.

Click a file then a "Edit" button will show up at the right side of it. Click the "Edit" button and there will pop out an edit window. In that window, you can trim any length of clips of the source file and flip the video horizontally or vertically.

After finishing editing the source files, you can select "DVD Style" including "Thumbnail", "Name List", and "No Menu"; select to burn the files to D5 which contains 4482 MB space or D9 which contains 7885 MB space; select the output quality from "Best Performance", "High Quality", and "Standard".
